We’re running a self-support Chamonix to Zermatt trip from 16th-24th September. A small group of 2-3 experienced mountain bikers is in need of 2-3 more riders to join them on this spectacular route. The trip will be fully guided but without van support so you will carry your own gear. We’ve had many groups ride the route self-supported before and they have all loved the added sense of adventure that carrying all you need for the trip brings with it. So long as you keep your day pack light – and we can advise you on this – the slight extra weight does not affect your enjoyment of the riding at all. It is possible to wash kit en route at the overnight hotels.
The Chamonix to Zermatt is possibly the best high alpine mountain bike route in the world. This is an opportunity not to be missed but don’t just take our word for it:
“The Chamonix to Zermatt should be on every mountain bikers bucket list – superb alpine riding terrain with chocolate box views , cunning route planning , top hospitality and logistical support. The perfect holiday!” Andy Collins.
“My Chamonix to Zermatt trip ticked all the boxes – great guided route, brilliant riding , stunning scenery and views (helped by the amazing weather) , good company, made new friends and shared stories, really good food and accommodation. Basically – I loved it!” Louise Hanley
